- Net Price Calculator
- In accordance with the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008, all Title IV post-secondary institutions are required to post a Net Price Calculator to their school's website in order to help prospective students estimate total cost and financial assistance. However, under the HEOA, institutions that do not enroll first-time, full-time degree-seeking students are not required to have a Net Price Calculator.
At this time, Birthingway's largest program, our Midwifery Program, does not enroll any first-time students as all students in this program are required to complete two college-level prerequisite courses prior to acceptance (including a writing course and a Human Anatomy and Physiology course). Our Lactation Consultation program began in spring 2011 (2011-12 academic year); we do not yet have figures for this program. Since the data for the Net Price Calculator is based upon actual student data, we anticipate having figures for the 2011-12 academic year posted by October 2012.
While we do not have a Net Price Calculator, we are eager to help you estimate the potential cost to attend. Please contact us at (503) 760-3131 and ask to speak with our Financial Aid Officer for more assistance.
- Preferred Lender Arrangements
- Birthingway will gladly work with students who are interested in financing their education with the support of private or alternative loans, though the college does not promote nor endorse specific private educational loan lenders, or maintain a Preferred Lender List.
To receive more information about private loans, please contact Birthingway's Financial Aid Officer.
