As well as being a student doula, I am also a massage therapist, specializing in Thai massage. Thai massage is rooted in the Buddhist concept of "Metta" which means loving kindness, active goodwill, and a strong wish for the happiness of others. I intend for my doula work to be a cultivation of Metta.

I offer my continuous support for you and whomever you choose to have present during your labor and birth. I will express my support by honoring your unique process and decisions without judgment, by being receptive to your needs, and by being there for you the whole time throughout your labor and birth. We will also have two visits together before the birth to get to know each other and discuss your hopes, fears, and wishes. After your child is born I will come visit you again to check in and see how things are going, and to help you with whatever I can.
