Hi, I’m Renata. I moved a year ago to Portland from Berkeley, CA. I first became interested in the work of labor doulas through my experience as a teen reproductive health educator, and as a volunteer with traditional midwives in rural Mexico. I strive to maintain presence and bring a sense of calm into all situations. I am passionate about supporting women through this amazing process, and in all aspects of women’s health. I’m also a performing musician, and am interested in the effects music have on labor, birth and the postpartum period. Please feel free to contact me to see if we are a good match.
