My priority is to support the new mother in whatever way possible. Her needs will ultimately determine what type of postpartum assistance is needed and for how long. I believe that the initial postpartum period is a time of both joy and growth. It is an honor to enter the home of a family and provide support during this intimate time. My role as a Postpartum Doula is an important part of my training both as a Midwife and a Lactation Consultant. It allows me to connect with mothers, babies and families in a unique way as I support them in their first weeks and months together. I find this work both a challenge and a delight.

I have been passionate about the whole birth process and transition into motherhood since I was a child. Becoming a mother is a natural and an empowering process and I will support the mother's choices. Helping to facilitate a positive postpartum experience is what I love, as I assist in being a physical and emotional support for the new mother and her family. I have experience working with first-time moms, large families, twins and triplets. I can assist with light housework, meal preparation, breastfeeding support, sibling care, running errands. My demeanor is calm, compassionate and relaxed. I am honored to be a mother of four girls.
