Can't find the item or article you need in the Birthingway Library? Try requesting it through Multnomah County Interlibrary Loan (ILL). All you need is a Multnomah County Library card with a barcode. You'll create your own account and password so you don't even need a MultCoLib pin number. Their tutorial and FAQ pages are very helpful! |

It offers full-text articles for more than 180 international, and often peer-reviewed journals and reports. There are hundreds of pamphlets, booklets, special reports, original research and book excerpts. Login to the Alt HealthWatch™ database using your Birthingway library card barcode and pin number provided by the librarian. |

ScienceDirect is a leading full-text scientific database offering journal articles and book chapters from more than 2,500 peer-reviewed journals and more than 11,000 books. There are currently more than 9.5 million articles/chapters, a content base that is growing at a rate of almost 0.5 million additions per year. Elsevier has digitized as much of the pre 1995 journal owned-content as possible, bringing articles from as far back as 1823 (The Lancet) to the desktop. |
